Richard "Dick" Stice

Richard “Dick” Stice, 79, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at Trinity Center at Luther Park in Des Moines. He was born March 9, 1933, an only child to Leona and Darwin Stice, in Des Moines, Iowa. Dick retired in 1994 from Western Electric, where he truly enjoyed his 44 years of service as an installer. He also enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and boating. Dick was a 1951 graduate of East High School and a lifetime member of the east side Masonic Lodge.

Dick is survived by his loving wife, Judy, of Altoona, his daughter, Heather (Casey) Clement of Mitchellville, and his grandchildren, Natalie and Nathan. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 13, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, in loving memory of Dick.
