Cleo Murray, 78, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012, at Fountain West Health Center in West Des Moines. She was born October 24, 1933, in Craddock, MO, to Leslie and Elizabeth (Buffer) Roseberry.
Cleo is survived by her children, Leonard (Teri) Murray, Loria Murray, and Larraine (Steve) Murray; seven grandchildren, Kyle Murray, Stephanie (Greg) Thorson, Ben (Ashley) Murray, Kaitlyn Freudenberg, Kallie Freudenberg, and Kacy Murray; three great-grandchildren, Maeva, Rory and Colten; brothers, Carl (Sandy) Moses, Larry (Jeanne) Moses, Robert (Karin) Moses; and sister, Phyllis Snell. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Martha and Shirley Hertz, her parents, and adoptive parents, Jesse and Lenna Moses.
Memorial services will be 12 p.m., Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with burial at Bondurant Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League in loving memory of Cleo.

I am truly sorry to hear of your Moms passing. She always treated me with respect.
I lost my wife Nov 6 and my Mother March 10 so I can feel a little of what you are feeling. My sympathy to Len and Larrane.

Dear Leonard, Lori and Rani,
I was sorry to read of your Mom's death last weekend. Cleo played a very big part in my family's life when Billy Todd and Missy were adopted. She babysat so many times and the kids both loved her dearly. It was fun watching the 3 of you grow up and one of my favorite home movies is of Rani and Billy playing in the plastic pool in our back yard on 35th.
Sorry that I will be out of town on Saturday but will be thinking of you and your families with love and prayers. There is a special place in Heaven for kind and gentle Cleo.
