OD Brown

OD Brown was born on July 27, 1942 in Clarksdale, Mississippi. He moved to Chicago Heights, Illinois at an early age. OD was employed at the Event Center for 20 years. He met Yvonne Clark and to this union two children were born.

OD is preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Smith. OD was loved by AD Clark who took him under his wing as a son. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Aaron Clark, and daughter, Melinda Clark, whom he loved very much, both of Chicago, Illinois. He also leaves four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and leaves Mark, Jerome, Jimmy Lee, AD, Jr., Sylvester, Ruth, and Grace, all of Chicago, Illinois, whom he loved as brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, August 4, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with cremation to follow.
