Sharon M. (Cain) Williams, 75, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Sharon was born August 9, 1936, in Grand River, Iowa, to Paul and Cecil Cain. She was a very unique lady and an excellent listener. Sharon was a huge Elvis fan and loved the beautiful fall leaves. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, especially going on family picnics.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Larry; daughters, Julie Bird-Jones, Lori (Jeffery) Bird-Wolfe and LeeAnn (Kevin) Bird-Jones; son, Larry Williams II; step-daughter, Kimberly (Tim) Lacy; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Shirley (Pete) Jorgenson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Sandra Ryan and Aimee Irwin.
A memorial visitation will be held at 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, August 2, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.

Although we had only met Sharon a couple of times through Larry II and Kelly my sister, she definitely stood out as a caring, giving person. Hoping your hearts find smiles and memories soon.

Sharon was a very gracious, extraordinary woman. We enjoyed visiting with her at our sons ballgames, and as a customer at the bank where she worked. It was obvious what family and friends meant to her. We are so very sorry for your loss. God be with you all in this time of sorrow.
