Elsie Brugioni, 81, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Urbandale Health Care Center. She was born June 5, 1931, in Nunzel, Nebraska, to Paul and Lily (Cowles) Schultz.
Buffy was a born again Christian who had a great love for her Lord Jesus Christ. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and enjoyed stock car racing – especially in her younger years when she drove the stock car – painting, and spending time with her family.
Buffy is survived by her children, Sherry Marie Brugioni, Vicki (David) Grodt, and Rusty (Kathy) Brugioni, 9 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Eddie, granddaughter, Millissa, and two brothers.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 pm, on Saturday, August 4, at New Life Church, 6036 NE 12th Avenue, in Pleasant Hill.

Paulette, Lyle and I are so sorry to hear about Buffy passing. We have great memories of her with our mom, Phyllis. Buffy lived next door to our mom and they would sit outside and tell storys about their lives. They had some stories too. I have been out of touch with her for a few years now but we have often talked about her. She will be dearly missed. Sheri we think of you too, please call sometime 263-9995 Charlene
