Diane Monson

Diane Monson, 55, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Private family burial will take place at a later time.
Diane was born November 4, 1951. She graduated from Valley High School in 1970 and married Larry Monson on May 17, 1980. Diane was very artistic and enjoyed painting, drawing, making jewelry, quilting, crocheting and knitting.
Diane is survived by her husband, Larry Monson; sons, Raymond (Samantha), Jason (Stacie) and Brent (Kayla) Monson; father, Leonard Wolf; three sisters, Verjean (Jim) Ward, Judi (Steve) Malone and Jan (Denny) Goad; and her brother-in-law, Alan (Marya) Monson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marian Wolf.
Memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or John Stoddard Cancer Center.
