June Miller, known as “Munca” to many, passed away on July 24, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital.
June is survived by her son, Dan (Roxian); her daughters, Rose Miller, Carol Miller, and Patty Stanley ; her eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, and her daughters, Loretta Miller and Kathryn Miller-McLaughlin.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Christ The King Catholic Church, 5711 SW 9th Street in Des Moines. Family will greet friends on Sunday, July 29, from 5 to 7 p.m., with a prayer service to begin at 7 p.m., at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. A private burial will take place in Glendale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in June’s loving memory.

Our hearts and prayers go out to your family! You have endured so much this year and since it has just been 22 days from Joe's passing you will have to dig deep into your faith to help you through this trying time. Just remember that after 65 years on earth your mom is at your dad's side once again in heaven for eternity!
