Gloria Butler

Gloria J. Butler, 65, died peacefully Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Mercy Hospice Johnston. A memorial visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Friday June 22, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
Gloria was born April 16, 1942 to Floyd and Hazel Bannick in Atlantic, Iowa. She graduated from Wiota High School and married Dean Butler on September 1, 1962. Gloria was an avid reader; enjoyed fine dining and going to movies; and loved ice cream. She worked for the Iowa Utilities Board for many years and has many devoted friends who will miss her terribly.
Gloria is survived by her daughter, Kristine Butler of Minneapolis; sister, Sharlene (Don) Sanny of Lewis, IA; and sister-in-law, Fran Bannick of Omaha.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dean Butler; and brother, Gary Bannick.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Soldier Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, 223 Larre Street, Soldier, IA 51572.
