Mark Dawson

Mark William Dawson, 45, passed away June 4, 2007 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held 10 am Thursday at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th, Des Moines. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mark was born December 2, 1961 in Des Moines. He graduated from East High School. He married Debra Goodrich in 2001. Mark worked at Adesa of Des Moines as a Fleet Lease Lot Coordinator. Mark was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. He loved his family and taking part in family activities. He enjoyed working on his home, as well as cars. He grew the best carrots and enjoyed gardening with Nathan. Most of all Mark was “the rock” in his family and never had an enemy. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debra, his children, Nathan Larry and Anthony John Dawson; his mother and step-father, Ann and Bill Pedersen, his step-mother, Twyla Dawson, his sister, Jennifer Van Der Sluis, David and Paul Dawson, Michael and Jon Pedersen and his grandparents, King and Eileen Dawson. Many nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Larry C. Dawson.
