The world is a darker, sadder place with your passing Rob, you touched so many people with your humour and thoughtful approach.
We only knew each other over the ethernet being separated by "The Pond" but you were always a true friend and a real gentleman, always quick to help and support those in need, always the right words at the right time.
You had the rare skill of really listening and saying just enough to help without any dressing. You always put others first and I will be ever grateful that I had the privilege to have known you.
My thoughts go out to your family, especially your sons, I know just how much they meant to you.
Rest easy old man.

What can I say about "Boofo" (Rob) that hasn't already been said here and on vBulletin.org. I just found out the news of his passing and have been reading everyone's condolences and stories. :(
One thing I can say about the man; He showed respect to everyone and I never once heard an ill word spoken about him.
No matter how bad of a mood I was in he could always get a laugh out of me and pass a long some good advice at the same time.
My heart goes out to his family and loved ones in this difficult time.
God speed "old man", we never got to meet in this life but I hope we will in the next.

Bob, you were a friend to me, someone I respected and admired because you were genuine, honest and kind. I'll miss our late night chats about family, movies, travelling and coding and your witty humour but will hold on to many of the memories with great fondness. I'm sorry that we never met in person, but not sorry that our paths crossed online, it was a pleasure working with and getting to know you. My heartfelt sympathies to your family and many friends, you will be sorely missed. I hope you are at peace now. Until we meet again :)

Robert Earnest Hindal, Jr. was a very respectable, strong-willed, and independent gentleman. He was part realist, dreamer, and visionary who always stood tall and proud.
He will sadly be missed by his friends on The Internet (vBulletin, XenForo, Socially Uncensored) and I can only imagine the impact he made in the real world as well.
My deepest respects to his friends and family for their heartfelt loss.
