Bob "Twig" Mathews

Bob “Twig” Mathews, 75, was born March 7, 1937, in Blakesburg, Iowa, the son of Joseph and Katherine (Ruby) Mathews. He passed away Monday, July 9, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center.

Bob is survived by his children, Debra Wilkinson, Robert E. Mathews, Betty (Harold) Wilkinson, Joseph Mathews and Michael Mathews; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Gene (Inga) Mathews and Donald (Helen) Mathews; many nieces and nephews; longtime companion, Donna Spencer; other loving relatives; and many special friends.

A memorial visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
