Frederick Stewart

Frederick M. Stewart, 76, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007 at Winterset Care Center South. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, June 7 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. The family will greet friends from 6-8pm Wednesday, June 6 at the funeral home. Private family burial will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery at a later date.
Fred was born April 27, 1931 and lived in the Des Moines area most of his life. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Fred was a truck driver for LeRoy Wade and Son until his retirement.
Fred is survived by his children, CherAnne (Joe) Starlin, Patricia (Jerry) Carico, Frederick Stewart, Mary (Dennis) House and Sandra Held; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Eloise; granddaughter, Jessica Rayleen VanSickle and great-grandson, Cayden Stewart.
