Service Details
Mui Linn Tham Ung, 87, passed away at her home Sunday, June 24, 2012. She was born March 15, 1925, in Sonla, North Vietnam. She came to Des Moines in 1978.
Linn is survived by her children, Sinn Ung Baccam, Heng C. Ung, Sone C. Ung, Hong C. Ung, Seng C. Ung, Fong C.Ung, Leng Ung Baccam, Wa C. Ung, Hung C. Ung, Kheng S. Ung and Nam C. Ung; 32 grandchildren;17 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Man Cu Tham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cheang Van Ung.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, June 29, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Linn was one of the most pleasant people I have had the privilege to ever meet. She loved God. She always had a big smile fore me. I know that in her life she has always been a hard worker and very willing tio share her life and services with others. I love her and her family very much. My memory of her is a great inspiration to me. She will always have a very special place in my heart. Her smile will always help me in life to be uplifted and happy. Even though I am very sad to lose her friendship here on earth, I know, that because of Jesus, we will be together again some day, and I thank God for that. I look forward to that time. Praise be to God.

Sorry for your loss. She was a very nice lady and I am glad I met her. Keep the faith and always know that she will always be with us.
