Donna L. Rench, 61, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012, at her home, after a courageous fight with cancer.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Trinity Baptist Church, 4600 SW 26th Street, Des Moines, Iowa.
Donna Louise Kirkpatrick was born August 10, 1950, to Donald and Gwendolyn (Meyers) Kirkpatrick. She grew up and lived all her life in Des Moines. On March 24, 1973, Donna married Farrell Rench, and the couple has been blessed with two daughters, Sueann and Nicole. Donna enjoyed playing the slots at Prairie Meadows and shopping with family. Mostly she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Farrell Rench; daughters, Sueann (Bernard) Mincey and Nicole (Grady) Trumbo; six grandchildren, Matt, C.J., Rylie, Raeghan, Walker, Roxie; one great-grandson, Gavin; her mother; and seven siblings. She was preceded in death by her father.

Thanks for all that came to the services. It was a wonderful turn out for my mom. She will be greatly missed.

Donna was a great friend to me. I will miss her alot. I am glad we met and became friends. I am so sorry for our loss. She was a loving and caring person. Let me know if I can do any thing.

I grew up with Donna and Betty... as they were our "cleaning ladies" that came over every week. I am saddened to hear of Donna's passing. My thoughts are with the family, and Betty.

Sueann and family, there are no words that anyone can say that will ease the pain of the loss of your mom, but please know that I am praying that god will help ease this pain for you all. My heart is aching for you all. Just remember she is not in any pain anymore. If u ever need to talk a shoulder to cry on don't hesitate to call me..hugs to you Sueann..<3
