Kelly is the most wonderful, sweet, stubborn, incredible man that brought more joy to my life in the last 6 months we were together than any other person I have met on this planet. Our dreams of being married next year are just on hold until I get to meet up with him again. He owns my heart and soul forever and I pray for the day to stand by his side for eternity. I love you my Sweet, you are my soulmate, husband, confidant and friend.

I went to High School with him in Arizona. He always had his guitar with him and he would play and sing all the time.
My favorite memory is when he and his friend Joe played the National Anthem during the talent show...they promised the faculty they would not do the Hendrix version...but they did. We all went wild!
I hadn't seen Kelly in 30 some years, but I thought of him often. I know he will be missed by so many and never forgotten by anyone fortunate enough to have known him.

We grieve with you. May you find comfort in the legacy of his gifts in each one of you. He left this earth doing what he loved most.....being a Father and
GRAND Father protecting the smallest of his gifts. He would want it no other way. Knowing his spirit....when he loved....he loved with his whole heart. Trust that love & share it with others. In that way....Kelly will always live on.

My husband Dave grew up with the Starretts and although I don't know you personally, I am very familiar with the Starrett name because he's mentioned it many times throughout the years. Unfortunately he's out of town this week and unable to attend services, but was extremely saddened to hear of the devastating event. His heart is just aching for you all. Please accept my sincerest condolences on his behalf. We both are so very sorry for your loss.

I attended Kurtz Jr. High with Kelly, which is the last time I saw him. From reading all of the notes on this site, it sure looks like he never changed. Cool, with friends in every corner and niche of society. To Kelly's family; he will never be really gone, as you will keep him in your thoughts always. Please know that there are a ton of people that are hurting with you during this time. Take care.
