Service Details
Dorothy M. Brown, 92, passed away June 16, 2012 at Kavanagh House in Des Moines. Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street with burial following at Glendale Cemetery. A visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
Dorothy was born May 5, 1920 in Spencer, Iowa to George and Vera Woods.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Robert (Anacorita) Aguiniga; daughter, Carol (Gerald) Ward; sister, Velma (Dick) Lyness; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Theodore Brown and Richard Aguiniga; son, Raymond Alatorre; daughters, Delores Alatorre, Marcy Heithoff; sister, Ella Mae Ford and brother, George Woods.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kavanagh House or to Animal Lifeline of Iowa.
