Charles Thomas, 77, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, June 5, 2012.
Charles was born on September 5, 1934 in Quincy, Illinois to Merriet and Norma Thomas. He was employed as a meat cutter for many years, served in the Air Force during the Korean War, and was a past member of the Masons.
Charles is survived by his sons, Robert, David, Sid, and Lonnie Moore; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Lenora Miles and Marilyn Wilson Churchill; and one brother. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Virginia; his son; and his brother.
There will be no services at this time. Burial will occur at Iowa Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Charles.

I had the privilege of working with Chuck at NPI. We spent a many of Saturday mornings working at the same desk and had some great times. He loved to tell a good story and I liked listening to them. He will be missed dearly.

It was an honor and a pleasure to meet and work with Charles. I met him at NPI also. He was a true gentleman. He loved his music. RIP Charles.
