Ryan, you are in my sincerest thoughts during this difficult time. I remember Chris fondly and his presence will be sorely missed. I know it's been some time sice we've spoken, but if you ever want to catch up or just talk, I'll be available. God bless you, buddy.

I cannot believe this. Chris has been a positive and influential person in my life for around a decade. We shared a number of years together in Santa Barbara, including last year. He moved, then I moved soon after. When apart we always kept in touch. He has always come up frequently in my thoughts and conversations and I have valuable relationships with numerous mutual friends and acquaintances, many of which were forged by Chris. He was such an animated present soul. Chris was always a good friend to me and I can honestly say my life is better because of him. This makes me so sad. He was too young. I'm so sorry for Ryan and the others whose lives were intertwined with Chris'.

The Handley Family's condolences to all of Chris' family. While we have not met any of you, we knew Chris for most all of his ten years in Santa Barbara and kept in touch when he returned to Iowa. Chris was truly our "Go To Guy" for all things technical! Our Abby misses her friends Lola and Kingsley, too, and wish that they find a nice home. We all had many beach walks together here on Summerland Beach. Having trained our son Christian on computer services during his high school years on an internship at Make It Work, Chris wrote an incredible recommendation letter that our son will always treasure - and also got him a job! We miss you so much, Chris, and we felt your presence on your day of passing. God Bless.

Ryan, I have never met you... but if you are as intelligent, giving, and crazy as your brother... I would love too... He was my biz partner for a short while here in SB, and while that didn't work out, we remained friends and he taught me a lot. He will be missed by many here in Santa Barbara. All my love - Tony

Ryan and family, words can't begin to express how very sad & sorry our family feels about the loss of your sweet and darling brother. I will never forget watching the countless soccer games that he & all his soccer brothers played in. We love you and we loved your mom Jan and your grandmother as well. You and Chris could not have been more loved by your mom. Chris is now in a wonderful and peaceful place. God Bless Chris, you & your girls. Terrie Woods

I am physically sick with grief but am humbled raw by the love for you, Chris and Ryan, that emanates from the countless friends who are reeling from this massive cavity we suddenly find in our lives. So many of us wish we could soak up your sorrows and carry the mourning alone so you Monsmas can carry on, bolstered by this monumental love - free from tragedy. Sadly, words cannot define so vast a love for Chris, so vast a sadness from his loss.
My Sincerest Condolences,
Gus Krieg

Ryan and family, my deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. Chris was such a sweet man and out of both you boys looked so much like your mother Jan. I knew your mother Jan very well and BOTH of you boys were the apple of her eyes. She loved you two very much! Please know she is still looking down on you and sending you hugs and love. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
