Madonna Swartz

Madonna Swartz, 64, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. She was born August 25, 1947, in Des Moines, to Carl and Helen Bordenaro. Madonna worked as a billing clerk for Iowa Power & Light Company.

Madonna is survived by her daughters, Michelle Bouma and Regina (Joe) Romeo; grandchildren, Antonia, Giovanni, Spencer, Ashley, Morgan, Blayne and Eileen; and her great-grandson, Haydyn. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and her sisters, including Barbara, who was also her best friend.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until service time Thursday, at the funeral home.
