Lenna Mae (Beem) White

Lenna Mae (Beem) White, 78, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012. She was born May 30, 1934, in Des Moines, to Merle and Esther (Deerborn) Beem.
Lenna enjoyed taking care of her fish tanks and cats, cooking, collecting unicorns and Betty Boop items. Her favorite pastimes were reading, video games, puzzles and crocheting.
Lenna is survived by her children, Raymond “Davey” (Maeta), Bryan, Douglas (Tammy), Mark (Becky) White, Tammy (Tim) Gandy and Pam (Jay) Bolen; sisters, Mary Johnson, Susan Spaulding and Donna Connett; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren, with two on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Beem and Ben “Buddy” Beem; and a grandson, Troy Mason.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home with cremation following. A private burial will take place at Berwick Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League.

Aunt Lenna...may you rest in peace.

Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.
