Service Details
Elizabeth J. Allen, 83, died Friday, June 1, 2012. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, with burial following at Glendale Cemetery. A visitation will be from 12 p.m. to service time on Tuesday.
Elizabeth was born February 5, 1929, in Des Moines to Ralph and Mary Cutler. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Richard (Peggy) Allen, Larry (Lois) Allen; grandchildren, Mary, Brian, Daniel, Lucas, Tracy, Amanda, and Jessicia; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arles, and daughter, Sandra Miller.

I'm glad your mom got with my Mom in doing the porcelain dolls. And that Liz fell in love with Penny (chihuahua). How are are the dogs doing and who has them. I like to see Penny sometime.

You all have my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your mom. She is thankfully no longer suffering and has been reunited with your dad and Sandy now. I hope you can all find peace and comfort in that.
She was a strong yet compassionate woman and I always enjoyed her company. May God bless you all during these most difficult days and always.

To the family of Elizabeth Allen. You have my Heart-felt condolences for your loss. Liz was like a second Mother to me and I will miss her dearly as I know all of you will. But our loss is Heavens gain. I know that liz accepted Jesus as her savior, because I was there. I know she is with God! I hope this comforts you in your time of sorrow. May God bless all of you !
