Harold was my best friend when I was little. I remember watching Shock Theater with Harold, Carolyn, and Jimmy when I was at Washington School in Evanston. Harold's mom took care of me a few times when I was sick. The last time that I saw Harold I was on the campus of Northwestern University years ago. Harold was a good guy and I know that he is in a better place. My e-mail is hklay_hklay@yahoo.com and my phone number is 847-923-0532. I am retired and living in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Katherine it was a shock to hear of Harold's death. I cannot believe it, he looked so good at your wedding. I was fond of your dad and kept in touch throughout the years. I did call Barbara. I would like your telephone number. our number is 850-638-8026. I am sure Scott will be able to go to the burial at Arlinton Na't cemetary if we know the date. Susan and Scott would love to see you and meet Ryan 703-930-1930

I worked with Harold at the DEA Chicago Field Division in the Asset Group for two years. He always had a cherry hello and smile when you arrived at work. Also a very dry sense of humor.......the "prune" incident I will always remember, it kept the group going on who placed the prunes in Rick's coffee cup! Only Harold and I knew who did it (it was me!). Will miss him. And my heartfelt condolences go out to Katherine and Kathy. May God lift you both up into his arms and comfort you at your loss of a kind and generous person.

Katherine - I was so shocked and saddened to get your message that your father, and my brother, had died. Carolyn expressed so well how we all feel at your loss AND ours. As she wrote, please let us know if there is anything we can do.

Just found out today about my brother's death. What a shock! My sister and remaining brother are also finding it hard to believe he is gone. At this time we are coming to terms with his passing and seeking answers to the place and circumstances of his death. Katherine, I am so sorry for your loss because I know Harold adored you so. The last time we saw him was at your wedding and we will remember that time together fondly. Please remember we are here for you!

We extend our sympathy to Harold's family in his passing. We met Harold a year or so ago and had been working with him to build an adventure motorcycle - sidecar combination. He was one of the most pleasant and genuinely interesting customers we have had. We are going to miss following his planned travels. Bob and Deb Darden

We were sorry to hear of Harold's passing. A few of us here had an opportunity to work with him while we were in Chicago. We all agree that Harold was always cheerful and a pleasure to be around. We had some good laughs together. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. May God bless and keep him in his light. Delores J. Williams, Robert Traina, Juan M. Morales, Scott Nowland, and Jennifer Tucker.
