Gavin was born December 4, 1985 in Des Moines to Kim and Doug Jackson. One thing about Gavin, he lived life to the fullest, known as our “Wild Child”. You always knew it was him by that mischievous laugh. But what he was notorious for …was that mischievous grin everybody who ever met Gavin knew him for that grin. He at times could be shy but even then you’d catch “that grin”.
From the time he could walk he was on a four-wheeler, then onto “His Love” his very own dirt bike. He loved the outdoors; you could not keep him inside. Gavin was always camping, fishing, hunting for the “Big Buck” or Morrell mushroom hunting. He loved to eat his mushrooms. Some of his other loves were jet skiing, listening to rap music, being with his special friend Allie or sitting around having long talks with his mom.
Everyone who knew Gavin loved him. He was a joy to be around; his contagious laugh was a guarantee to make you laugh. He will be missed by all who knew and love him.
Gavin is survived by his parents, Kim and Doug, his sister, Nichole Jackson of Des Moines, his grandparents, Karen and Rich Todden of Des Moines, his aunts, Patty Moyle of Lincoln, NE and Deanna Moyle of Des Moines, his aunt and uncle, Greg and Jan Jackson and his cousins, Amanda and Abby.
