Everett Rhodes

Reverend Everett R. Rhodes went to heaven on May 28, 2007. Everett was born in Yale, IA, February 26, 1916. He was 91 years old. Everett spent most of his life in Iowa pastoring in several small communities. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during World War II. His retirement years were spent in Cresco, IA and Albert Lea, MN before moving back to Iowa.
Everett is survived by Virginia, his wife of 67 years, daughters; Marcia (Dennis) Getto and Rachel (Ron) Scott; grandchildren Scott (Diane) Rogers and Amy Scott; great grandchildren Reanna and Keegan Rogers. He will be missed by all who loved him.

Condolences may be sent to Virginia at 6132 NE 12th Ave, Apt. 110, Pleasant Hill, IA 50327. Everett had donated his body to Des Moines University.
A memorial service will be held at Altoona Regular Baptist Church on Sunday, June 3rd at 2 p.m.
