Charles Martin

Charles “Dick” Martin, 82, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2007 surrounded by his family at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, IA. Per Dick’s wishes the body has been cremated and no services are planned.
Dick was born October 20, 1925 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, and retired after 35 years with John Deere as a tool and die maker. He was a fifty year member of Pioneer Lodge #22 in Des Moines. Dick was a member of the United States Navy and served during World War II.
He is survived by his daughter Julie Hay and Lon Hay, son-in-law of Ankeny, and a brother Marshall Martin of Colorado.
