Richard Dillon

Richard L. Dillon, 68 passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center. Per his wishes, his body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.

Richard was born September 6, 1943, to Richard and Ruth Dillon. He was a barber and had owned and operated Bob & Bill’s Barber Shop in Highland Park for many years. Richard enjoyed watching Joel Osteen, fishing, flower gardening and gardening of all types.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Tonya Porter; grandchildren, Anthony Porter and Amber (Tanner) Cole; great-granddaughter, Makenna Cole; brothers, Tom (Alice) Dillon and John (Susan) Dillon; sister, Betty Blackford; many nieces and nephews; and his best friends, Harold and Ernie. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Henry Dillon.
