Charles W. "Chuck" McFadden, Jr.

Charles “Chuck” W. McFadden, Jr., passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Chuck was born January 15, 1951, in Des Moines, to Charles and Darlene (Kelly) McFadden. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Chuck worked as an HVAC technician. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, going to garage sales and riding motorcycles. Chuck also had a special love for his dogs.

He was loved and will be missed by many, including his wife, Debi; son, Eddie; four grandchildren; brothers, Gary, Steve and Wally; sisters, Charlene and Gloria; lifelong best friend, Vic; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

A visitation will begin at 10 a.m., with funeral service at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Iowa Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at U.S. Bank.
