Evelyn Gwinn

Evelyn Joy Gwinn, 75, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at the Carlisle Care Center in Carlisle, IA.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave. in Des Moines. Visitation with family present will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
Evelyn was born May 15, 1932 in Des Moines. Evelyn was not only a mother but also worked as School Bus Driver for the Saydel Consolidated School District for many years. She had been a member of the Pioneer Sons and Daughters (a genealogy group), as well as the Blue Angels Motorcycle Club and a Union Representative of the Painters and Allied Trade Union. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her family. She also liked bowling, motorcycle riding and doing genealogy.
She is survived by her husband, John, her children, Cathy Accordino of Des Moines, Steven and Gregory both of Knoxville, IA., and Michael of Fremont, IA., and blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Iowa.
