Kenneth Hall

Kenneth W. Hall, 91, of Des Moines, Iowa, died on April 7, 2012, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Kenneth was born June 26, 1920, the son of Rachel (Lamb) and Jesse Hall of Granger, Iowa.

Kenneth and Marion (Johnson) were married in Boone, Iowa, on October 10, 1940, and were blessed with 53 years of marriage and three daughters. Ken and Marion shared many memories with their family boating, camping and traveling.

Ken was employed and retired from Central National Bank and Trust Company, later known as Bank of America, for 41 years, serving as an officer for many years. He was a member of East Gate Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, and Jesters.

He is survived by daughters, Judy (Bill) Mally, Colleen (Dennis) Adams, and Deborah (Ronald) Forest; six grandchildren, Bob, Rhonda, Timothy, Traci, Trent, and Tricia; great-grandchildren, Kindra, Justin, Jeremy, Paul, Kaylyn, Kyle, Miranda, Natalie, Alexis, Kolby, and Kade; great-great-grandchildren, Chyler, Madison, Delainey and Camron. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marion, brothers, Melvin and Beryl, and sister, Maxine.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and a private family burial will be held at a later date.
