Doris Olive

Doris Olive, 83, died Thursday, April 5, 2012, at the Norwalk Nursing and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Monday, April 9, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, with burial following at Glendale Cemetery. A visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday, April 8, at the funeral home.

Doris was born March 25, 1929, in Des Moines, to Joe and Jeannie Tripe. She retired from the marketing department at CDS. Doris enjoyed fishing, Karoke, making greeting cards, and spending time with her family.

Doris is survived by her son, Douglas (Wanda) Harry; granddaughters, Misty (Tony) Lovejoy, René Harry; great-grandchildren, Dené Forbes, Ty Lovejoy; and brother, Dale Tripe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Olive and brothers, Paul, Floyd, Robert, and Charles Tripe.
