Carl Johnson

Carl Johnson, 83, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2007. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th St. Visitation will be held from 12-2p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Directly following the service there will be a luncheon held at the Eagles Lodge, 6567 Bloomfield Rd., in Des Moines.
Carl was born March 16, 1924 to Amanda and Gustav Johnson. Carl was drafted into the army at age 18 and served during WWII, and was a member of the Fraternal Organization of the Eagles.
Carl is survived by his loving wife, Rosanna Johnson; daughter, Pamela Falkstrom, daughter, Melissa (John) Harvey and daughter Mikan Gorla; grandchildren, Mitchel, Matt, Justin, Jason, Josh, Michael and Kaitlin; and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, son-in-law and many brothers and sisters.
