Arnold John "Bud" Jones

Arnold John “Bud” Jones passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Iowa Methodist Hospital. Bud was born on November 26, 1943, in Connecticut, to Beulah and Doc Jones.

Bud served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed golf, the Green Bay Packers, hunting and fishing. He worked as a plumber.

Bud is survived by his wife, Diane “Jackie”; his children, Robert (Julie) McAfee, Laura (Lee) Waugh, Wade (Jennifer) Jones, Arnie Jones, Kimberly Thompson, and Brett Jones; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ann (Perry) Halom and Gloria Whitledge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Ernie Gilbert.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, 314 E. Army Post Road. Family will greet friends starting at 9 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
