Robert E. Newton, 36, passed away at his home Friday afternoon, March 30, 2012.
Robert left behind his loving wife, Lahoma Newton; parents, Steve and Linda Newton; brother, Mike Newton; sisters, Cathy Newton and Lisa Newton; step-children, Ildra (Jason) Rosenwinkel, Samantha Rodgers, and Kenith Martin; and nine beautiful step-grandchildren who will miss him very much.
The family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
Robert, we will all miss you bro.

I grew up 3 houses down from the Newton family in Norwoodville. I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of Bobby. I haven't seen him since I was little and I'm sadened to know that his life had turned in a direction to end in this way.
My prayers and thoughts go out to his wife and children, may you find peace in the Lord your Savior and know that you will see Bobby again.

I will miss you so much, but am thankful there will be no more pain for you. You were wonderful with Justin and he loves you so much, he thought you were the greatest when you would take him fishing.
Say Hi to your grandmother, I bet the two of you are fishing or building something.

Rob, You have been a good friend to me, I will miss you alot. You were always so easy to talk to, and told me the truth, even when I didnt like hearing it.. thats what a good friend does... I like the way you could joke around and laugh, yet you were serious when you needed to be. Specially when it came to the love and protection you expressed for your wife and your family. I like the way you always called me Lady when texting me.... I cant believe this is the last time I can say it..."Thanks, Man."

You will be greatly missed. We had alot of good times when you and your family lived next door to my grandma. Exspecially when we would get my moms station wagon ready to go to the drive in movie theater and i knocked it out of gear and it went down the back yard and hit Eddie and Violets fence.

R.I.p. Bobby and I went way back in so many years. He was like family to..I don't want to bereave that u r now gone..u r now up in heaven with no more pain. U will be missed dearly. I'm sorry for ur family lost. Everyone in my prayers
