Alva L. “Al” Workman, 69, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012, with his loving family and friends by his side.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., with a service starting at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Another viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 29, at Bates Funeral Home in Oskaloosa, IA, with burial following at 11 a.m. at Highland Cemetery in Eddyville, IA.
Al is survived by his wife, Jean; sons, Ronnie and Alvin; grandsons, AJ, Shane (Shannon); great granddaughter, Deborah; many sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.
