Service Details
Linda Young passed away on March 16, 2012, at her home in rural Warren County. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at the Peru Cemetery in East Peru, Iowa.
Linda was born in St. Marys, Iowa, on June 3, 1954, to John and Velma young. All her life Linda was very independent, strong, and self-reliant. She loved her home, her cat Micah, the St. Louis Cardinals, and riding her motorcycle. She was an expert quilter and an avid reader and cribbage player.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Marilyn Herrick. No immediate family survives, but Linda is very greatly missed by her friends and neighbors.

We were suprised to see of Linda's passing. We knew Linda as she would stop into our business for auto repair. She was a very nice lady.

Dear Lin, It's so hard to believe you've passed. I was so looking forward to our visit during the booksale in just a few weeks. Your friendship, laugh, cheerfulness, thoughtfulness, sense of humor,love of life and wisdom will be greatly missed. Forever in my heart with the fondest of memories Dear Friend.
