James LeClair

James (Jim) LeClair Sr., 63, went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2012.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 23, at the funeral home.

Jim loved NASCAR, Hawkeyes, Kansas City Chiefs, watching his grandkids play sports, walking at Gray's Lake, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy of 43 years; his four children, Jim, Jr. (Deidra), Scott (Sarah), Debbie (Jim), and Steve (Heather); "PAPA" has 7 grandkids that he loved dearly; Krystal, Cassie, Molly, Tyler, Caleb, Alex and Dale; Sister, Sandy (Bob) Zuber; brother, Ed (Billie); sister-in-law Lois Anderson; brother-in-law Bob Crigler; sister-in-law Connie (Rick) Hodges; and many nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Irene, brother Don, sisters Dee, Bev and Rose.
