Milo A. Passmore

Milo A. Passmore, 94, went home on Saturday, March 17, 2012. He was born December 25, 1917, in Jasper County, to Everett and Mabel Passmore. He graduated from East High School in June of 1936. In 1942, he married Marie E. Olson.

Milo worked for C.B.S.N.Y. In 1982, he retired as Manager of Equipment Design and Maintenance. He stayed active during his retirement with various jobs, woodworking and working outside.

His wife, Marie died on July 9, 1987. Milo was also preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Lee Passmore; and three sisters, Ardith Passmore, Northa Van Loon and Hazel Pingree. He leaves behind his friends and the Vogel family who have been blessed to have Milo in their lives.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to Mercy Hospice.
