Chris Turney

Chris Turney, 24, of Des Moines, died Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 13, 2006 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue; interment will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
Chris was born January 27, 1982 in Des Moines. He graduated from Saydel High School in 2000. He was working as an electrician for Kline Electric, a job he truly loved. He enjoyed doing home improvement on his new home, and playing pool with his dad. Chris had many friends and was always the life of the party. Above all, he enjoyed being with his family and his fiancé, Jessi.
Chris is survived by his parents, Robert C. and Debbie Turney of Des Moines; the love of his life, his fiancé, Jessi Green, of Des Moines; his maternal grandparents, Swede and Colleen Casner of Avon Lake; his paternal grandparents, Robert L. and Gloria A. Turney of Des Moines; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
