Daniel Graber, 32, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012. He was born March 12, 1980, to Herbert and Rebecca Graber, in Des Moines.
Daniel was raised in Des Moines and then moved to Michigan to drive semi-truck with his dad. He loved to work on cars and fix things. Daniel enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, but his greatest joy came from his son, Joshua.
Daniel is survived by his son, Joshua Graber; father, Herbert (Doris) Graber; mother, Becky (Carl) Dick; brother, Adam Graber; sisters, Amber (Joe) Yoder and Daphne Stevens; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday, March 19, 2012, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will occur one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family for Daniel’s son, Joshua.

I will never forgive myself for brushing off your requests to just hang out. You did good! Joshy is so handsome & all grown. You are in my thoughts daily. I will not ever understand all of this until we meet again! Save me a seat sir, I will be there with you someday! Until then.. I/we ALL & always have loved you!

Dan was a good friend of mine from the day we met in Jr. High.
He was always up for hanging out and I remember him saying
That hanging out with friends and telling stories was one of his
Favorite ways to spend time. I also remember telling some of those stories
While FREEZING in his old VW bug one winter. I send my deepest sympathies to the family
And friends and know that he will be greatly missed.
