Frank Harmon
March 13, 2012
Frank “Doc” Harmon, 61, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.
Doc enjoyed working for Keck Parking, Inc., before having to take early retirement due to his declining health. He was recently baptized as a Catholic and was very devoted and proud of his faith. Doc was an avid Chicago White Sox and Detroit Lions fan. He also enjoyed watching softball and racing. However, Doc’s greatest joy and passion in life came from being a grandpa to his four loving grandchildren.
Once our angel on earth, now our angel in heaven, left to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years, Pam; daughters, Dawn (Tony) Tavegia and Shawn (Phillip) Isbell; beloved grandchildren, Taylor, Phillip, Gabrielle and Emily; sister, Bette (Charles) Luna; nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Faye Harmon.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 16, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3300 Easton Blvd. followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
