Kimberly Marvin

Kimberly Kennedy Marvin, 43, of Des Moines, went home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2006, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. A celebration of life will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, at Grace Church in Des Moines, 4200 E. 25th Street. The family will greet friends Monday evening from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.

Kym was a member of Grace Church and had been a homemaker ever since her daughter Madeline was born 13 years ago. She enjoyed horses and scrapbooking, and spending time at church and improving her fellowship with people. She was a loving mother, wife, and daughter, and touched many people in her life.

She is survived by her husband, Mikel; her daughter, Madeline; her mother, Judy Kennedy; her father, Mike Kennedy; and her grandmother, Joan Kennedy.
