Shirlee Ann Schlenker

Shirlee Ann Schlenker, 77, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012. She was born September 28, 1934, in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, to Ruth and Joseph Duay, Sr.

Shirlee is survived by her children, Linda (Jim) Jones, Rick Nelson, Tim Nelson, Shelley (Mike) Duffert, Byron (Vicki) Schlenker, Randy and Steve Schlenker; her grandchildren, Angela (Cory) Williams, Jennifer (Sarah) Jones, Aimee (Bryan) Parrill, Dominic (Makana) Duffert, Robert (Donna) Taylor, Stephanie (Laymon) Boschert, Andie, Emily and Cindy Schlenker; great-grandchildren, Kadence and Ashlin Williams, Austin and Jackson Taylor, Holden, Ripley and Ash Parrill. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Joseph, Jr., Cyril, and Billy, as well as her sister, Ruth O’Connor.

Funeral services will be 12 p.m., Friday, March 9, 2012, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with burial at Berwick Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 8, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation in loving memory of Shirlee.
