Berniece "Bea" Smith

Berniece “Bea” Smith, 67, died March 2, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital. She was born October 3, 1944, to Wilma and Kenny Kelsey in Des Moines.

Bea enjoyed her Betty Boop collection.

She is survived by her children; Richard, Fabian (Michaela) and Roger (Lynn) Rumbaugh, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving children; Donna Jane Ralston and Dennis Eugene Rumbaugh.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will occur Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be directed toward the family in loving memory of Bea.
