Dear John,
Doug and I were so sorry to learn of the death of Rita,
when Jane called this morning. Since we have been adults our
chances of seeing another has been almost never. Texas and Iowa
should have been closer and our busy lives not so busy so we
could have had more time together.
You will be in our hearts and prayers as you go through
this most awful loss. May God and the members of your family be
with to give you comfort.
I love you,
Polly ( Pauline )

Rita was my mentor when I first joined Executive Women International and quickly became a friend. Her positive attitude and incredible smile were so inspiring and motivational and will be greatly missed. Rita was such a very special person. Please know that she deeply touched the lives of many people.
My most heartfelt sympathies are extended to the family.

I am heartbroken that I can't be there to say goodbye to Rita. She had been a part of my life since I was so tiny... I will hold dear my lifelong memories of the kindness she showed me (especially as a child running around the store!) and her warm, welcoming smile. She will be missed tremendously.
With much love,
Tricia and Aaron Peden

Dear Diane,
Truly our deepest and sincerest sympathies on the loss of your sister. The family circle is briefly broken, however the circle will reconnect in your healing.
Although terribly sad and a profound loss, there is a richness and satisfaction that you were able to provide Rita with your professional expertise and sisterly love with comfort.
This truly aches...let the tears flow. The loss never eases, we just get better at coping with it.
Sympathies to you and your entire family.
