Kenneth Foust

Kenneth Orville Foust, 83. passed away May 17, 2007 at the Kavanagh House on 56th Street. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8pm Monday at the funeral home.
Kenneth was born December 24, 1923 in Des Moines to Georgia and Russell Foust. Kenneth served in the US Army during World War II. He worked at Bob Brown Chevrolet as a truck manager. Kenneth was a pilot and loved to fly. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and doing woodworking. He loved spending time with his family. Kenneth was a member of Southgate Masonic Lodge and Za Ga Zig Shrine
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Sharon Harkness of Des Moines, his sons, Kenneth and Russell both of Des Moines; his brother, Robert of Bryan, TX; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Dora “Ann”, his parents, his brother, James and grandson Scott.
Memorial Contributions are suggested to Hospice of Central Iowa or to Southgate Masonic Lodge.
