Mildred Kindhart

Mildred D. “Judy” Kindhart, 73, died Monday, February 20, 2012, at the Altoona Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Judy was born September 6, 1938, in San Diego, CA, to Walter and Irene Poole. She was a member of Faith Independent Assembly of God Church. Judy enjoyed crocheting and was a great cook.

Judy is survived by her children, Susan (Jeff) Jayne, James F. Kindhart, and Gary (Patricia Ann) Kindhart; four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat Cochrane, Mary Mahany and Ella (Roger) Gwartney; and her brother, Bob Poole.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kindhart; son, Michael Allen Kindhart and brothers, Bill Poole and Charles Poole.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Faith Independent Assembly of God Church, 6001 SW 14th Street, followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
