Royal “Buttons” McVey, 56, passed away at his home Monday, February 20, 2012. He was born November 26, 1955, in Des Moines.
Buttons is survived by his wife, Belinda; children, Chantelle (Jeff) McVey Johnson, Cole McVey, Billy Anderson, LaDonna Kyle and Rickey Anderson; 11 grandchildren; and his siblings, Mae, Wanda, Frances, Janie and Donald. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl and Anna McVey; brother, Pearl; and his sister, Gloria.
