Jeanene Collins, 49, of Des Moines passed away peacefully at her home on February 19, 2012.
She was born March 10, 1962, in Des Moines,, the daughter of Norman and Viola (Carter) Havens.
Jeanene is survived by her daughters, Melissa Havens, Nicholle (Jeff) Jacobi, Rachel (Jerry) Baker; son Austin Lane; sister, Janet (Brian) Hagins; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held Sunday, 11 a.m.to 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made at the funeral home in Jeanene’s loving memory.

Im so sorry to hear about the lose of a wonderful women she was almost like a second mom to be she alwaysmade me laugh everytime I would see her she will be missed by alot
