David Noland

David L. Noland, 74, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street with burial following at Norwalk Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until service time on Thursday.

David was born in Des Moines on August 19, 1937 to Ralph and Clora Noland. He retired as a postal worker for the US Post Office.

David is survived by his daughter, Julie (Alan) Scully; his sisters, Joyce Pettis, Jan Groomes; his brother, Michael Noland; his four grandchildren, Jeff (Amanda), Jason, Ashley, Paige; his three great granddaughters, Ayden, Angelina, Jilian and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elizabeth and his daughter, De Anna.
