David Kern, Sr.

David Paul Kern passed from this life on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, after a lengthy illness. David was born on November 18, 1940. He was a self-employed entrepreneur, and thoroughly enjoyed making his own way in the world. David was a good hearted man loved deeply by family and friends.

David is survived by his devoted wife, Cheryl; sons, James (Tiffany) and David (Haley) Kern and John Rouse; daughters, Rose (Terry) Brison and Brenda (Mark) Sheehan; brother, Jim; sisters, Cheryl and Beverly; eight grandchildren; and a multitude of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, February 18, 2012, from 1 to 4 p.m., at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
